The Groz Rapid Action Woodworking Vise has a rapid action mechanism that stands out as a quick-release vise.
These vises are manufactured from close-grained grey cast iron with accurately machined housings to ensure smooth sliding movement and a true parallel action free of side or cross movement. The vise jaws are equipped with a "Toe-in" feature that ensures even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece when fully closed. The precision-machined housings enable smooth sliding movement, while the Steel main screw has Buttress threads for smooth, accurate and responsive adjustment.
To use, simply turn the handle to tighten the vise, and when you need to release the workpiece, turn the handle in the opposite direction, and the screw is disengaged, allowing the front jaw to slide freely.

If you are not satisfied for any reason products may be returned within 30 days of shipment for a full credit or exchange (provided the product is undamaged). Return documentation should clearly specify credit or exchange. Returned items must be in the original packaging. All returns must include a return authorization (RA) number that can be obtained by contacting Groz USA Customer Service Department at 1-888-685-2916. Our customer service hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CST). Include a copy of the original order confirmation or packing slip with your RA paperwork as proof of purchase. Returns received without a RA number may be assessed a 15% restocking (processing) fee that will be deducted from any credit due.
